PRINTFLUX CONNECT

IT integration with corporate accounts to actively participate in their cost reduction strategy
The Issues
Setting up a portal for ordering print jobs for corporate accounts which is totally intergrated (interfaced) to the supplier management program.
| • | Total printer integration in electronic supply lead times set up by the client aiming at the contractualisation of customer relations. |
| | |
| • | Broader range of printer skills from a basic printing company to a strong value-added service provider. |
| | |
| • | Enormous reductions in hidden expenses, previously undetected, linked to customer supply operations : up to several thousand euros/dollars per year. |
| | |
| • | High reduction in the cost of order processing for the printer by eliminating 85% of manual operations needed in a classical workflow (sales, order-taking, DTP, prepress, administrative follow-up etc). |
| | |
| • | A 100% increase in order-taking with identical manufacturing parameters but reduced labour. |
The Solution
PrintFlux Connect is a Front-Office module that allows the printer to interface a PrintFlux e-commerce site to an integrated enterprise resource planning application (ERP) or an e-procurement tool set up by the print buyer to order directly from his supplier on-line.
PrintFlux Connect thus allows automatic order flow of personalised or non-personalised printed documents, available in a catalogue, with tools such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Baan and Back-Office PrintFlux MIS.
This Front-Office is totally integrated in the client ERP which remains in the general catalogue. Printing orders are redirected to the printer’s Back-Office PrintFlux MIS.
ERPs used on PrintFlux Connect
When considering the implementation of PrintFlux Connect solutions between the printer and his corporate accounts, PrintFlux has developed an interface methodology specific to each ERP.
This methodology is unique and has proved its effectiveness over the years.
| • | PrintFlux Connect for Ariba. |
| • | PrintFlux Connect for SAP. |
| • | PrintFlux Connect for Oracle. |
| • | PrintFlux Connect for specific ERP. |
